The Post-conference field-trip leads to the National Park and UNESCO biosphere Reserve Lore Lindu in Central Sulawesi (Indonesia). We will explore the tree diversity of primary submontane and upper montane forests.

The Sulawesi Throughfall Displacement Experiment plots will be visited. In addition, we give an introduction to the environmental history with focus of the Megalithic Culture of the area.
