Instructions for Oral Presentations (Talks)
- We like to provide a maximum number of participants the possibility to give an oral presentation. Accordingly, there will be 20 min for each speaker (15 min + 5 min discussion). Please make sure to stay in this time frame; Experience has shown that you cannot stay within this time frame if you have more than 10-15 slides.
- The conference room is equipped with a beamer and a Windows computer to allow PowerPoint or PDF Presentations; (it will not be possible to use your own computer).
- There will be no Macintosh computer. Please make sure that your PowerPoint presentation can run on a Windows computer.
- Please provide your Oral Presentations on CD or on a USB memory stick;
- Speakers
Please come to the registration desk at the Hotel Hall on Sunday 5 October, preferably between at 09:00 and 13:00 h, as we need to start loading the presentations to the computer. This allows us more time in case problems should occur. Especially speakers for the first sessions on Monday morning should be in time. Please don't arrive in the last minute!
To minimize potential incompatibilities between the software versions you use and those we use to display the presentations, we recommend limited use of animation, use of common Windows fonts for text and symbol fonts for equations. Bring your presentation to the meeting on CD-R or USB memory stick after testing this copy on a different machine, and submit it after registration.Instructions for Posters
